<p>Client asked me to create four designs with traditional holiday colors, but <em>not</em> in the generic style common among Christmas Decorations.  The party invitation showed tree-tip branches with snow flakes clinging.  So I took my theme from there, beginning with Oak branches and moss with silvered berries.   In the side-piece below, the design is completed with Oriental Lilies, holly with traditional red berries, pine cone, pomegranate and various leaves and foliage.</p>
<p><a href="http://neibert.com/blog2/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/sidepiecelilyDSCF156.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="side piece-lily-by Yukiko December 2009 DSCF156-" border="0" alt="side piece-lily-by Yukiko December 2009 DSCF156-" src="http://neibert.com/blog2/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/sidepiecelilyDSCF156_thumb.jpg" width="688" height="1008" /></a></p>
<p>The theme carries through the tallest centerpiece;  below the oak branches are completed with cala lilies in unusual color, with white Oriental Lilies and holly, <em>et cetera.</em></p>
<p><a href="http://neibert.com/blog2/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/centerpieceacallaDSCF148.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px" title="centerpiece-cala-lilies by Yukiko December 2009 DSCF148" border="0" alt="centerpiece-cala-lilies by Yukiko December 2009 DSCF148" src="http://neibert.com/blog2/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/centerpieceacallaDSCF148_thumb.jpg" width="688" height="1008" /></a>  </p>
<p>The second centerpiece is topped with white oriental lilies, and wrapped with curly willow, and uplifting bands of harakeke with holly and silvered berries.</p>
<p><a href="http://neibert.com/blog2/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/centerpieceblilyDSCF150.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="centerpiece-oriental-lilies-by Yukiko Dec 2009 DSCF150-" border="0" alt="centerpiece-oriental-lilies-by Yukiko Dec 2009 DSCF150-" src="http://neibert.com/blog2/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/centerpieceblilyDSCF150_thumb.jpg" width="693" height="1008" /></a></p>
